ALAMEDA COUNTY (KRON) — A motorcyclist was injured Sunday night in a hit-and-run collision in unincorporated Alameda County, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The accident occurred around 6:15 p.m. at Grove Way and Gail Drive in the unincorporated community of Castro Valley, authorities said.
The motorcyclist was stopped at a light when a silver Chevrolet Camaro hit the motorcycle from behind and then fled the accident.
The victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to authorities.
CHP officers are looking for the Chevrolet and its driver.Bay City News Service contributed to this report
