A Florida mother was arrested after she threw a concoction of cayenne pepper and salt into the faces of two girls she claims bullied her daughter, the DailyMail reports.
The incident happened on Monday at Cambridge Elementary School. The sisters, ages 8 and 11, were treated by a school nurse and taken to a local hospital for further evaluation, according to WESH2.
The child’s mother, Simmone James, 46 was arrested on Monday following the attack.
James told police that the girls had tormented her daughter for three months and that she needed to handle the situation herself.
As James was walking her daughter to school, she confronted the girls and said, ‘leave my daughter alone’ before throwing the mixture.
She was charged with two counts of child abuse, battery, and disruption of school functions.
