KRON—NASA has released new photos of dunes on Mars that looks like it has Morse code on it.
Scientists now have clearer pictures of these dunes than they have ever had before.
NASA says it used the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment camera to capture the photos.
The Morse code on the dunes were not created by aliens, but created by wind patterns. Dune patterns on Earth are created in the same way.
Usually dune patterns give scientists an indication of the wind direction in a specific area, but the markings on the Mars dunes are so complex that scientists are having a hard time determining the wind direction, according to NASA.
The pictures could help scientists have a better understanding of Mars.
