This week there will be more road closures in San Francisco as crews continue to work on the new Transbay Transit Terminal after two cracked beams were found last month.
Transit center officials will shut down First Street between Mission and Howard from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. every night through much of this week.
Officials have now decided to shore up the portion of the transit center which runs above First Street even though no cracks have been found.
Work on the transit center is expected to last at least until the end of the week.
