CLINTON, LA (KRON) — A little girl helped save her mother from being held hostage by bringing a note to school in Louisiana.
The 11-year-old girl went to her middle school class with the message from her mother.
The note said she was scared and being held against her will.
School officials immediately called the authorities who worked with the girl to save her mother. Police learned that the mother had been held hostage in a man’s trailer for a couple weeks.
Police found the trailer and arrested the man after finding him hiding in the closet.
The man was already facing domestic abuse and battery charges and had two additional warrants for missing court dates.
