Scott Tenczar, a hiker who went missing last month, was found dead over the weekend, Yosemite National Park officials said Monday.
Family members said crews found his body on Friday.
Tenczar was last seen at the Bridgeport Ranger Station on July 25.
Tenczar had planned to backpack from Robinson Creek to Crown Lake, Matterhorn Canyon, Smedberg Lake, Seavey Pass, and Peeler Lake.
The 48-year-old San Jose native was an Afghanistan veteran and taught English in South Korea.
Further details have not yet been released by authorities.
