REDWOOD CITY (KRON) — Police in Redwood City are looking for a missing man with dementia Thursday night, police said.
Police said Douglas Towne, 75, suffers from severe dementia and is considered unable to care for himself.
He walked away from his care home in the 1300 block of Valota Road in Redwood City around 5 p.m. and has not been seen since, according to police.
He is described as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 132 pounds, with white hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved blue shirt, dark pants and black New Balance shoes.
