EL DORADO COUNTY (KRON) — A missing couple who became stuck in snow while driving in a mountainous area of El Dorado County have been found Monday night.
Rescue crews resumed their search Monday morning.
Police say Rory and Susan Holloter went for a drive in their white truck Saturday and haven’t been seen since.
The couple contacted their son Sunday afternoon saying they were stuck in the snow.
They sent him directions to their whereabouts.
Since then, the Verizon cell tower has gone down and police haven’t found the couple’s cell phone.
Officers are trying to match their directions with maps to hit the highest probability area’s first.
