UPDATE: The missing 9-year-old boy from San Leandro has been found and was reunited with his family, police said Sunday.
SAN LEANDRO (KRON)—San Leandro police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 9-year-old boy.
Waheed Munir was last seen at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday riding away from his home on Alice Ave.
Munir is a foster child and was punished by his foster parents for misbehaving.
The 9-year-old reportedly ran away from home. He has no money or a cell phone.
Munir is described as a Middle Eastern boy standing 4 feet 6 inches tall. He weighs 60 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a blue shirt the reads “United States of Awesome”, grey shorts, and low top grey camo print shoes.
