ALAMEDA COUNTY (KRON) — Police are asking for help locating a 73-year-old man who went missing in Oakland on Wednesday.
John Nelson Beck was last seen in the 1300 block of Clay Street in Oakland, near the Oakland City Center, according to police.
He was dropped off for an appointment in that area around 9-9:30 a.m. but never made it to the appointment, police said.
Beck is described as a white man with glasses standing 5 feet 11 inches tall. He was last seen wearing navy blue pants with green and blue plaid shirt, according to police. He also wears prescription glasses.
Police said he does not suffer from any medical ailments that would cause him to become disoriented or lose his memory.
