Fairfield police have located a 12-year-old boy who went missing Saturday afternoon.
Police haven’t released information on the boy’s whereabouts, but say he is safe. %page_break%
According to the Fairfield Police Department, around 4:30 p.m. Nevin Jenkins left his home in the 2000 block of Fieldstone Court after getting into an argument with his mother.
Police say Jenkins has the mental capacity of an 8-year-old.
He may not know any other name than “Nevin” and doesn’t know his age, address, or other identifying information, authorities said.
He scares easily and could be hiding somewhere.
Jenkins was last seen wearing a bright yellow hoodie and blue jeans. He is 5’3″, 90-lbs with short black curly hair.
Authorities say he would never run away from home and this is out of his character.
