MILPITAS (KRON) — Milpitas police have arrested two people accused of stealing a motorcycle, according to Sgt. Matthew Miller.
At around 6:45 a.m. on Sept. 23, police said they spotted a black 2007 Honda CBR motorcycle parking in a Walmart parking lot, located at 301 Ranch Drive. The motorcycle was reported stolen out of San Jose on Aug. 22, Miller said.
Before the suspects were able to get on the motorcycle, police stopped the suspects, identified as 35-year-old Brandon Wesley White and 23-year-old Christina Renee Louise Koening. Both suspects are San Jose residents, police said.
Police said White “falsely identified himself to an officer by presenting a fictitious Texas identification card.”
“During the course of the investigation, it was determined White had a felony warrant from the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office for a Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) violation under his true identity, and he had a credit card, a driver license, and a social security card belonging to other people,” Sgt. Miller said.
Koening had a misdemeanor warrant for identity theft and narcotic-related offenses.
White was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for theft of a motorcycle, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a fictitious identification card, possession of stolen property, falsely identifying himself to an officer, and the warrant.
Koenig was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for the warrant only.
