PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — For those looking to hit it big, the California Lottery announced that Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot has increased to $420 million, which is the seventh largest jackpot in the game’s history.
Since the run began back on Jul. 27, 2018, there have been 20 drawings without a jackpot winner. If one lucky winner hits the jackpot, the lump sum payment for the cash option is estimated at $237.1 million.
The deadline to purchase tickets for Friday’s Mega Millions drawing is 7:50 p.m.
