SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — McDonald’s is recalling 32.6 million Happy Meal activity trackers after reports of potential skin irritations caused by the bands.

The “Step-iT” activity wristbands are being recalled in the U.S. and Canada.

McDonald’s has received more than 70 reports of incidents, including seven reports of blisters, after wearing the wristbands, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The wristbands were sold exclusively at McDonald’s from August 9 to August 17.

McDonald’s is urging customers to take the bands away from children immediately and return them back to any McDonald’s store for a replacement toy.
