Martinez Police Arrest 4 Juveniles On Suspicion Of 3 Home Burglaries

MARTINEZ (BCN) — Police arrested four juveniles on suspicion of burglarizing at least three homes in Martinez on Thursday, police said.

Approximately 5:15 p.m., officers responded to at the area of Likins Court on a report of a possible burglary in progress, police said. Four juveniles, who police said matched the witness’s description of the suspects, were driving in a vehicle that officers saw leaving the area.


Officers conducted a traffic stop of the car and arrested the four minors based on positive identification of the juveniles and a check of the residence, police said.

As officers were investigating the burglary, police received reports of two separate residential burglaries that had happened during the day. Officers found property from both of the previous burglaries inside the juveniles’ car, according to police.

The burglaries are still under investigation and officers are urging anyone who saw the suspects’ vehicle in the area of Brookside Drive or Duncan Street during the day on Thursday to call Martinez police at (925) 372-3436.
