Loved ones gathered Friday night in Martinez to remember the lives of two brothers killed in a horrific crash.
The deadly crash happened early Wednesday morning in Bakersfield.
Hodari Toussaint Cooper Jr, 20, was driving a white SUV east on 7th Standard Road when his car drifted into the westbound lanes and slammed head-on into a big rig, according to officials. He died on scene.
His 13-year-old passenger, Hakiam Cooper, suffered major injuries. He was transported to Kern Medical where he later died.
