SAN LEANDRO (KRON)–Two people were killed after their mobile home caught on fire in San Leandro, according to Alameda County Fire.
The fire broke out at around 5:15 a.m. at 285 Santa Susana.
Crews extinguished the flames within 15 minutes and were able to enter the home.
The victims are a man and woman believed to be married.
A witness told KRON4’s Will Tran she heard pounding when the fire erupted.
Fire officials haven’t determined the cause of the fire as it is under investigation.
The identity of the deceased hasn’t been released.
