The Bay Area along with the rest of California has been getting soaked by storm after storm this year.
Thanks to all that rain, a new report released by the U.S. Drought Monitor on Thursday shows that majority of California’s drought has been washed away.
By comparison to this week a year ago, around 48 percent of the state was in drought status.

Earlier in Feb. 15 we first told you when the Bay Area was officially out of a drought.
During that time, much of Southern California remained in a drought.
