PASADENA, Md. (KRON) — Family and friends gathered to honor the life of a ten-month-old girl who tragically passed away last week.
According to investigators, Emmaleigh Barringer died at hands of her mothers boyfriend after he sexually assaulted and strangled her last Monday in Pasadena, Maryland.
Police in West Virginia said, Barringer’s mother discovered her with 32-year-old Benjamin Taylor, after he had already raped and strangles little Emmaleigh.
Taylor is to be charged with first degree murder, and funeral services for Emmaleigh are scheduled for October 17th.
