SONOMA (BCN) – A man who purchased a winning scratcher ticket in Sonoma is taking home $1 million, according to California Lottery officials.
Rogelio Espinoza won the largest amount possible by buying a California Black Exclusive scratcher, officials said.
The ticket was purchased at Boyes Food Center and Deli at 18285 Highway 12. That retailer will receive a selling bonus of $5,000 – which is separate from Espinoza’s winnings, according to lottery officials.
Boyes Food Center and Deli will be added to the California Lottery’s Lucky Retailers list due to the high-profile nature of Espinoza’s winning ticket, officials said.
