SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A man was stabbed several times Thursday morning during a robbery in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood, according to police.
Officers responded to a report of a stabbing and robbery in the 300 block of Golden Gate Avenue at around 5 a.m., police said.
Police learned that an unknown number of suspects allegedly came up from behind and stabbed the 59-year-old victim multiple times.
The group then robbed the man, taking his cellphone and cash before fleeing, police said.
The victim suffered stab wounds to his leg, shoulder and wrist. He was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Officers were unable to locate and arrest the alleged attackers.
