SALINAS (BCN) — Police in Salinas are investigating a Friday night shooting incident after a man was shot at as he was walking to his home.
Officers with the Salinas Police Department responded Friday around 11:30 p.m. to the 500 block of Inca Way on a repot of a shooting incident and learned the victim, identified as a 21-year-old man, was walking when he was shot at.
A gold Honda sedan pulled across the street, and at least one man climbed out of the back seat and shot at the victim, police said.
The victim was not hit, but several rounds struck his home, and one penetrated the house where his family was located, police said.
The vehicle then fled the area in an unknown direction.
