OAKLAND (BCN) — A man was shot as he was robbed of his bicycle in East Oakland on Tuesday evening, police said.
The robber took the silver bicycle at gunpoint at about 6:10 p.m. in the 5500 block of International Boulevard. During the robbery, the suspect shot the victim in his left hand, according to police.
The suspect fled with the bike. Police did not provide a description of him.
The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition for treatment of the gunshot wound.
