MONTEREY COUNTY (KRON) — A man was injured when he was shot Monday night by two teenage suspects in unincorporated Salinas
Deputies responded to a shooting at 13 Higuera Lane at 10:32 p.m., according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s deputies said they found a man found lying on the floor of a residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Deputies administered first aid to the victim before he was taken to Natividad Medical Center, where he was reported to be in stable condition, according to the sheriff’s office.
The suspects are described as being two Hispanic teenage males both around 5 feet 8 inches tall. The first suspect was seen wearing a red 49ers sweater and gray pants, while the second suspect was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and gray pants, according to the sheriff’s office.
The suspects fled on foot and remain at large, sheriff’s officials said.
