SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A man was shot and injured in San Francisco’s Bayview neighborhood on Saturday night, according to police.

Police said it happened at around 9:20 p.m. near the intersection of Third Street and Quesada Avenue.

At the scene, officers found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower body. Another person at the scene escaped injury, Manfredi said.

The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, according to Manfredi.

Officers were unable to locate any suspects in the area however witnesses said a black man in his 20s had been seen nearby just prior to the shooting, Manfredi said.
