OAKLAND (KRON) — Oakland police responded to a man shot and critically injured in Oakland’s Allendale neighborhood Thursday morning, according to police.
Police responded to reports of the shooting in the 3100 block of High Street near Excel Health Care Center at 7:51 a.m., police said.
When officers arrived they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Investigators are seeking a suspect who fled the scene in a vehicle, according to police.
