A man sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl walking her dog in Half Moon Bay in late June, San Mateo County Sheriff’s Deputies said.

The sexual assault happened on Jun. 30 between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. in the area of the Pillar Point Boat Launch Ramp parking lot in Half Moon Bay, deputies said. That’s when a man went up to the girl and inappropriately touched her.

The girl was able to run away from the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 40s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a chubby to medium build. He has brown hair, a brown short and shaggy beard, and he was wearing a red hoodie and jeans.

The girl described the man has dirty.
