Here is the full statement from police:
Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who peeped through the bedroom window of a home last Wednesday night.
On Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at about midnight, our 24-hour dispatch center received a report of a prowler that had just left the rear yard of a home on the 100 block of Waverly Street. Officers arrived and attempted to track the suspect with a canine, but were unsuccessful in locating him.
The preliminary investigation revealed that, at about 11:50 p.m., the male resident received an alert from his security camera of movement in his backyard. When the male resident noticed the alert and reviewed the associated surveillance footage, he saw that a male subject had entered his yard through the closed gate and peered through the occupied bedroom for several minutes before leaving on foot.
The surveillance video appears to depict a Caucasian or Hispanic male, in his early twenties with dark thick ey ebrows and a mustache. The suspect had a light colored shirt wrapped over his head and was wearing baggy shorts with stripes on the side. A still image of the suspect is attached to this release.
