SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) — A man who robbed a bank in San Francisco’s Marina District on Wednesday afternoon remains at large, police said Thursday.
At about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, a man between 30 and 40 years old, walked into a bank in the 2000 block of Chestnut Street, near Fillmore Street, officers said.
The suspect apparently passed a note to a bank teller prompting the teller to hand over cash. The suspect then demanded more money and threatened to shoot the teller, although no weapon was seen, according to police.
The suspect left the bank in an unknown direction and has not been located, police said.
No victims were injured and the robbery remains under investigation, according to officers.
