SARATOGA (KRON) — A 52-year-old Los Gatos man in a rollover crash on state Highway 9 in Saratoga early Wednesday morning, according to California Highway Patrol officials.
The crash occurred around 12:40 a.m. on Hwy 9 near Austin Way, CHP officials said.
A citizen called CHP and reported hearing what sounded like a car flipping several times, officials said.
Responding officers located a vehicle on its roof and debris in the roadway.
The man was driving south on state Highway 9 north of Austin Way when his vehicle drifted to the left, entered the center divide, struck a tree and rolled several times.
The vehicle, a 2010 Infinity, came to rest on its roof in the center divide.
Alcohol does not appear to have played a factor in the crash, and the driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to the CHP.
