OAKLAND (KRON) — The Alameda County coroner’s bureau has identified the man killed in a big-rig accident last week.

35-year-old Segun Sogunle, a native of Nigeria, crashed into a tractor-trailer at Fifth Street and Broadway in Oakland around 2:10 a.m. on May 19.

Sogunle was driving south on Broadway when the accident happened.

He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Sogunle had lived at several addressed in the United State, but according to the coroner’s bureau, appears to have lived most recently in Stockton.
