SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A man is in critical condition after he was stabbed in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood on Tuesday evening, according to police.

The 19-year-old man was walking in the 200 block of Golden Gate Avenue at 5:35 p.m. when the two men approached him.

They got into an argument and he punched one of them, knocking him to the ground. The second suspect, a man between 45 and 55 years old, stabbed him with a knife.

The suspects then fled the scene and were never caught.

The man was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.
