Man in critical condition after dirt bike collision in West Oakland

OAKLAND (BCN) — A man who was riding a dirt bike this afternoon in West Oakland is in critical condition tonight after a collision involving his dirt bike, a car and another dirt bike, police said.

The collision was first reported at about 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of 16th and Peralta streets, about a block northwest of Mandela Parkway.

The driver of the car and the driver of the other dirt bike are in stable condition, Officer K. Hazen said.

What happened and what caused the collision are still under investigation, Hazen said.
