OAKLAND (KRON) — A man was shot and killed in East Oakland on Monday evening, according to police.
The shooting happened in the 2700 block of 35th Avenue at around 5:19 p.m., police said. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
The man was rushed to the hospital, where he died, police said.
A vehicle at the scene may have also sustained damage as a result of gunfire.
Investigators believe there were two suspects in this evening’s shooting, but suspect descriptions were not immediately available.
