RICHMOND (KRON) — A 36-year-old man is dead after a shooting Thursday night in Richmond.
Police said a 911 call came through around 6:13 p.m. Thursday about a shooting near 2nd Street and Chanslor Avenue.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the victim, Jorge Ponce, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Ponce died at the scene.
Richmond police have not provided details on a suspect or possible motive.
