WATSONVILLE (BCN) — Police are looking for two suspects after an assault and robbery at a high school in Watsonville Saturday evening.

Officers responded to Watsonville High School located at 250 E. Beach St., around 5:30 p.m. on reports of a man that had been stabbed.

Upon arrival, officers found a 30-year-old man across the street from the high school’s cafeteria on Lincoln Street suffering from a single stab wound to he arm.

Police said the man told offices he had been dropped off at the high school after work and proceeded to walk home when two subjects approached him.

According to police, the first suspect, yielding a knife, demanded the mans wallet and without warning stabbed him in the forearm.

The victim told police he feared for his life and gave his wallet to the suspects before they fled on foot heading south on Lincoln Street.

The man was treated at the scene by medical personnel and later taken to a local hospital.

Police said the first suspect was described as a Hispanic man between 17-18 years old with a tall and thin build and the second suspect was described as a Hispanic man between 17-18 years old with a short and stocky build.
