HERCULES (KRON) — A 25-year-old man was arrested after an alleged domestic disturbance turned into felony evading in Hercules.

On Tuesday afternoon at 12:37 p.m., officers responded to Thistle Court on reports of a disturbance between a man and a woman.

While officers were speaking to the female, the male suspect, Brandon Jackson, fled the scene in a vehicle at a high rate of speed.

During the brief pursuit, Jackson allegedly drove through a stop sign before driving into oncoming traffic, breaking several traffic violations.

Police said the pursuit ended with Jackson returning to Thistle Court and submitting to arrest.

Jackson was transported to Martinez Detention Facility on suspicion of felony evading, driving without a license and probation violation.Bay City News contributed to this report.
