SAN JOSE (KRON) — San Jose police have arrested a 21-year-old man accused in the death of his 44-year-old father who was found dead Friday night, police said on Tuesday.
Anthony James Torrez-Castro is accused of killing Anthony Ray Castro, who was found dead in the 500 block of Bonita Avenue, according to Sgt. Enrique Garcia.
Officers were notified of a possible dead body just before 7 p.m. Friday and arrived to the scene where they found Castro, who was pronounced dead, according to police.
The Santa Clara County medical examiner’s office determined the victim died of blunt force trauma, police said.
Torrez-Castro was arrested Sunday in Fremont and has been booked into Santa Clara County Jail, according to police.
