MOUNTAIN VIEW (KRON) — Police arrested a man who is believed to be connected to a gang-related stabbing that occurred over the Fourth of July weekend in Mountain View on Thursday.
According to police, 19-year-old Daniel Martinez was arrested in connection to a stabbing at Rengstorff Park around 10 p.m. on July 2nd. When officers arrived they discovered a juvenile male suffering from stab wounds.
Police said, earlier this week Martinez was identified as a suspect. He was arrested by both Mountain View and Sunnyvale detectives, and was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder and violating parole.
