SEBASTOPOL (KRON) — Police arrested a motorcyclist in Sebastopol who was trying to flee from the police on a stolen motorcycle.
According to police, motorcyclist Blake Palma was spotted driving the reported stolen motorcycle in the area of Florence Avenue and Huntley Street around 3 p.m. Friday afternoon.
Police pursued the motorcyclist and attempted to stop the driver in the area of Zimpher Drive and Valentine Avenue, but the motorcyclist failed to yield to the officers lights and sirens.
The police said, the motorcyclist continued to flee the police in a residential area driving up to 80 mph.
The motorcyclist surpassed a stop sign and collided with a truck in the intersection of Valentine Avenue and Pleasant Hill Avenue North.
Palma, 21, was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, recklessly evading a police officer and driving while license suspended.
