SEBASTOPOL (BCN) — Police in Sebastopol on Wednesday arrested a man and a woman in connection with drug and a weapon offenses.

On Wednesday at around 2 a.m., a Sebastopol police officer was on patrol near Valley View Drive and Ragle Road South when he noticed a vehicle parked in the area with no license plates.

The officer contacted the occupants of the vehicle, identified as Daniel Joe Croteau, 34, of Lakeport and Danielle Nicole Rhodd, 30, of Santa Rosa.

Croteau told officers there was a loaded firearm under the driver’s seat of the vehicle, and a search revealed a loaded .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol, police said.

Police also located a methamphetamine pipe in the vehicle’s glove box.

Croteau was arrested on suspicion of possession of a loaded, concealed firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken into custody without incident.

Rhodd, who is on probation in Sonoma County, was found to be in possession of two syringes, one of which contained heroin, police said.

She was arrested and released at the scene with a citation.
