SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The man accused of fatally stabbing a well-known San Francisco DJ and Apple data analyst is out on bail and has not been charged with murder.

Police said Nestor Conchola was booked on suspicion of murder for the killing of 29-year-old Joseph Razo.

The incident happened last month when Razo was stabbed several times during a large fight outside a nightclub.

Razo died one week later.

Prosecutors decided there was not yet enough evidence to charge Conchola with murder.

San Francisco police say DJ and Apple data analyst Razo and his friend were leaving the club on Jan. 25 when they noticed a group of at least seven people attacking another friend. The pair waded into the fray to help. Police say someone in the crowd stabbed Razo and his friend before the group of attackers dispersed.

Both injured men were taken to San Francisco General Hospital. The unnamed friend recovered but Razo died last week.
