TOPEKA (KSNT) — A man was taken to St. Francis Health Center after he accidentally shot himself in a Topeka movie theater parking lot.
Police were called to St. Francis just before 8 p.m. Saturday night.
The man said he was in the parking lot of Hollywood Theaters in the 6200 block of SW 6th Avenue.
He was unloading his gun when it discharged.
He was driven to St. Francis and is expected to recover.
No other information has been made available by police.
