An 80-year-old man suffered a head injury when he jumped out of a moving car Saturday night in South San Francisco.
Police say the man jumped out of his car on I-280 near the Westborough Boulevard off-ramp.
The man tumbled a few times until he hit the center divider.
The car also hit the divider and then crossed all lanes before coming to a stop.
No other vehicles were hit, however, another crash happened when a car swerving to avoid the driverless car hit a third car.
Police say the man was given a psychological evaluation.
At this time, police have not released a reason as to why this happened.
