A man was found dead in a possible assault at a Walnut Creek construction site on Thursday night, police said.
The beating happened at around 6:52 p.m. in the 1800 block of Lacassie Avenue.
When police arrived, they found a 60-year-old man with life-threatening injuries. Paramedics tried to revive him, but he died at the scene.
Police detained a 34-year-old man at the scene in the beating.
Nobody else was hurt in the incident.
