PETALUMA (KRON) — A maintenance worker at a Petaluma apartment complex has been arrested, accused of stealing medicine from a resident.
The man lives at the Baywood Arms Apartments, where 53-year-old Gordon Hart works as a maintenance worker.
The resident report the medicine thefts from his house on March 7 and March 26.
Rather than having police investigate, the man asked that police let him catch the thief using surveillance equiplent.
Wednesday, the man called police saying the had video evidence of a theft.
After watching the video and speaking to the victim, Officer John Antonio arrested Hart for burglary.
Hart was booked in the Sonoma County Jail for burglary of an inhabited dwelling, police said.
