LIST: Top 10 airlines in the world, according to TripAdvisor

TripAdvisor has announced its list of Top 10 Airlines in the World.

Released Monday, the list places Singapore Airlines right at the top.

Air New Zealand, Emirates, Japan Airlines, and EVA Air round out the top 5.

To generate results, TripAdvisor says it put traveler responses over a 12-month period into an algorithm that took into account the quantity and quality of reviews.

Southwest Airlines took the top domestic spot at No. 6 overall.
