OAKLAND (KRON) — Klay Thompson has been diagnosed with a concussion after he was kneed in the side of the head by Houston’s Trever Ariza.
He was hurt after he faked a shot, getting knocked to the floor with a knee to the head in the fourth quarter of the game.
During the game, Thompson got stitches in his right ear.
He also passed a concussion test immediately following his fall, with doctors clearing him to play in the game.
The Warriors say Thompson developed the concussion symptoms after the game.
He’ll have to pass the concussion protocol before he can play.
