OAKLAND (KRON) — Kevin Durant will be officially introduced as the newest member of the Golden State Warriors on Thursday at Oracle Arena in Oakland.

Durant announced his decision to join the team in an emotional letter he published on Monday.

The free agent will officially sign with the Warriors at Oracle at 1:30 p.m.

He is leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder to join two-time MVP Stephen Curry and the record-breaking Warriors.

Harrison Barnes and Andrew Bogut are not expected to be on the team next season as a result of the Durant signing.KRON4 News will be live streaming the event online & on the KRON4 App.
