OWENSBORO, KY (KPRC) – With summer around the corner, things are warming up, and now a store in Kentucky is taking a stand against sweat.
Owners of the store, Tobacco Road, in Owensboro say they will no longer take sweaty money.
They say they don’t mind if customers are sweaty, but they do mind if the money is sweaty.
They say customers sometimes reach into their shoe, sock, or bra to collect their cash, and then hand over sweaty bills.
A sign on the door now warns customers that cashiers will no longer be accepting “boob or sock money.”
